Biography

Everton de Matos Acts as Lead Security Research Engineer at Technology Innovation Institute, in the Secure Systems Research Center.

He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), acting at Embedded System Group (GSE), with Prof. Fabiano Hessel as his advisor. He was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to develop his doctoral dissertation at the University of Southern California (USC), under the guidance of Prof. Bhaskar Krishnamachari.

He has experience in Computer Science and his research interests are Internet of Things, Embedded Systems, Information Security, Virtualization, Hypervisors, and Microkernels.
